Oracle Inventory

The location of oracle's inventory you can set in file oraInst.loc

The location of the oraInst.loc file:

in HP-UX: /var/opt/oracle/oraInst.loc

in Linux: /etc/oraInst.loc

Content of oraInst.loc file:

inventory_loc=/ORACLE_INVENTORY_LOCATION/inventory

inst_group=dba

Detach ORACLE_HOME:

$ORACLE_HOME/oui/bin/runInstaller -silent -detachHome ORACLE_HOME="Name_Of_Oracle_Home"
